Congratulations on taking the first step toward adopting a rescue dog! We're honored you're considering Peaches Bully Rescue to help you find your newest family member.

Every dog that comes into our care deserves the best possible start before heading to their forever home. That's why each dog spends time in a loving foster home where we learn about their personality, preferences, and any special needs. Before becoming available for adoption, our dogs receive comprehensive veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, heartworm and parasite testing, spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, and any additional medical treatment or rehabilitation they may need.

Once a dog is healthy and ready for adoption, they're added to our list of available dogs and begin accepting applications.

Our Adoption Process

Our goal is to find the best match for both you and the dog. To help make that happen, our adoption process includes:

• Adoption application

• Phone interview

• Veterinary and personal reference checks

• Home visit

• Meet and greet with the dog

Meet and greets take place at the foster home's location. To help ensure a successful transition, everyone living in the home—including all resident dogs—must attend. If additional meet and greets are needed, we're happy to arrange them. We want everyone, both human and canine, to feel comfortable before making a lifelong commitment.

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees range from $300–$700, depending on the dog's age, breed, and medical needs. Senior dogs are adopted at a reduced fee because we believe every dog deserves the chance to spend their golden years in a loving home.

We happily consider out-of-state adoptions. Adopters must be willing to travel to the greater West Chester, Ohio area to pick up their new family member and complete our adoption process, including a home visit.

Every Adoption Includes:

• Spay or neuter surgery

• Rabies vaccination

• Distemper vaccination

• Heartworm testing

• Fecal testing and deworming

• Microchip with lifetime registration

Every adoption fee goes directly back into the rescue, helping us provide lifesaving medical care, food, rehabilitation, and support for the next dog waiting for a second chance.

Even if you haven't fallen in love with a specific dog yet, we encourage you to complete an adoption application. Once you're approved, we'll be better able to match you with a dog whose personality, energy level, and needs fit your family and lifestyle.
